Rasmus Hojlund of MU has returned to individual training after suffering a hamstring injury. The Danish forward had issues during the pre-season and has not played for MU since coming on in a friendly against Arsenal in the US.
MU recently posted a video showing Hojlund actively training to accelerate his recovery, including leg exercises and weight training.
It is still unclear when Hojlund will make his return. MU will face Liverpool at Old Trafford in the Premier League this weekend, and Hojlund will certainly be absent. Following this, European competitions will take a break for FIFA Days, providing a good opportunity for Hojlund to continue his recovery, with hopes of returning in mid to late September.
Last season, Hojlund scored 16 goals in 43 appearances for MU. While not an outstanding figure, it is commendable for a 21-year-old in his first season with the Red Devils.
After the first two games of the Premier League season, MU has scored 2 goals, thanks to Joshua Zirkzee and Amad Diallo.
